Baltimore, Jewish, Shomrei Emunah, modern orthodox, wedding

It is not everyday that a kangaroo makes an appearance at a wedding, well at least not at one held outside of a zoo. More than a kangaroo travelled across the world from summer to (almost) winter to come to (no offense) scenic Congregation Shomrei Emunah in Baltimore. Only something truly special and amazing could prompt that travel: Bec and Gavi’s wedding.

Gavi’s sister got married earlier this year (Tali and Yoni) so I got to spend time meeting and photographing Bec and Gavi already.  I love when I get to photograph a family more than once (see: The G’s). You see the similarities and the differences. How do they look at each other? How do they hold each other?

Watching the families and friends embrace this new couple is really the best part of the job. Simply put: Joy. Unadulterated joy.
