In 1998 Michael Temchine graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in photojournalism. After graduation Michael began working at The Hill newspaper in Washington D.C. covering Congress photographing everything from hearings and press conferences to features on religion, to the impeachment hearings of President Clinton. After leaving The Hill Michael traveled to Israel where he spent 6 months working on his professional development by photographing the different peoples and cultures that live in the region. Upon Michael¹s return to the United States he began freelancing in the Washington area. Freelancing for more than three years Michael works regularly for major national and international publications.

No matter the assignment be it a wedding, portrait, or feature Michael works in an unobtrusive style to capture the intimate moments that define the event.
