 In
1998 Michael Temchine graduated from the Rochester
Institute of Technology with a degree in photojournalism.
After graduation Michael began working at The Hill
newspaper in Washington D.C. covering Congress photographing
everything from hearings and press conferences to
features on religion, to the impeachment hearings
of President Clinton. After leaving The Hill Michael
traveled to Israel where he spent 6 months working
on his professional development by photographing the
different peoples and cultures that live in the region.
Upon Michael¹s return to the United States he
began freelancing in the Washington area. Freelancing
for more than three years Michael works regularly
for major national and international publications.
No matter the assignment be
it a wedding, portrait, or feature Michael works
in an unobtrusive style to capture the intimate moments
that define the event.
